L’AS ROMA PERFEZIONA L’INGAGGIO DI PAU LOPEZ
opez è un nuovo calciatore della Roma.
Il Club rende noto di aver acquistato a titolo definitivo, dal Real Betis Balompié, i diritti alle prestazioni sportive del calciatore Pau Lopez, a fronte di un corrispettivo fisso di 23,5 milioni di euro.
Con il calciatore è stato sottoscritto un contratto fino al 30 giugno 2024.
“È quasi impossibile dire di no ad un club come la Roma”, ha dichiarato il portiere classe 1994. “Questo rappresenta un passo in avanti importante nella mia carriera. Sono felice della fiducia riposta in me da questo grande club: mi sento pronto ad affrontare questa nuova sfida”.
Cresciuto nel settore giovanile dell’Espanyol, con cui ha esordito in Prima Squadra nel 2014-15, Pau Lopez ha collezionato 78 presenze in tre stagioni con i catalani, prima di passare la scorsa estate al Betis Siviglia con cui è sceso in campo 35 volte. In totale ha raccolto 100 gettoni in Liga.
“Sono molto soddisfatto dell’arrivo di Pau Lopez in squadra”, ha dichiarato il DS giallorosso Petrachi. “Pur essendo un ragazzo ancora molto giovane vanta cento presenze in un campionato estremamente competitivo come la Liga. Sono convinto che potrà fare bene anche da noi e crescere molto grazie allo staff di mister Fonseca”.
